Notes
One of Australia's greatest walks. Passes through Cradle Mountain and the Central Highlands Wilderness. Alpine tarns, ancient pencil pine forests, and dramatic dolerite peaks. Weather can change from sunny to blizzard in hours — come prepared for everything. Excellent hut system means no tent required, but experienced hikers carry a shelter.
